EDC 434 School Law

Study and analysis of school law from the historical and current viewpoint. Federal, state, and local regulations and laws will be analyzed in terms of their effects on schools and districts. The influence of precedent-setting cases on all aspects of school functions will be studied and sample cases will be employed as part of the curriculum. Technology to research a variety of case law will be utilized. Pre-requisites: enrollment in graduate program in School Administration.
